Marlon

Marlon is a loyal guard of the Church of Devias who assists as a sentinel across many cities. He has received intel that the Ring of Honor — a sacred item lost during Giaon's revolt — lies near Tarkan. Anyone who equips the ring is blessed with magical abilities and strength. It was forged from the same indestructible metal as the Secromicon and blessed by Etramu so that evil could never manipulate its power. Agree to find it for him, and he will show you how to gain its power first.
Quest start: Marlon appears in four cities — Devias [198, 47], Lorencia [137, 87], Noria [169, 89] and Atlans [17, 25]. This is the 2nd Class Change quest (Marlon's line), completed in two parts.

Marlon says
I have something to ask of you — would you lend me your ear? I would like you to find the Ring of Honor for me. The Ring of Honor is the greatest relic of all, given by the God of Light, Rugard, to the heroes who were victorious in the war against Sekneum.
If we don't find the Ring of Honor, something bad may happen to the continent. You can work on this if you have 3 million Zen. From the information I've gathered, the ring seems closer than I thought — it might be around Atlans, Tarkan or Icarus.
You have found the Ring of Honor! I knew you could do it. As I told you, it was given by Rugard to the heroes of the Divine War. Other than the three heroes we already know, there was also Kundun Mephis — the Great Mage of Arca — and Gaion Kalein, the Vice Commander.
But as you know, both were stained with darkness, and their Rings of Honor were lost. The ring holds the sacred power of Rugard, so if Kundun used it with evil intentions it would be catastrophic. That is why the empire's guards have tried so hard to find it. We are grateful to you — I've already submitted a report on your performance to the Twelve Disciples of Light who serve Rugard.
Blade Knight / Grow Lancer note: as a token of gratitude, Marlon offers to teach a secret fighting method passed down within the empire's army — taught only to those who have trained long and hard. This unlocks Part 2.
The Ring of Honor
Ring of HonorForged at the same time as the Secromicon, from identical indestructible materials, making it one of the most sacred pieces of history ever to exist. Its great magical power was said to bring everlasting youth to its bearer — some tales even claim it can bring the dead back to life. Fearing its strength, Etramu cast a spell on it to keep evil from manipulating its potential. It was lost during Giaon's revolt amid Kundun's invasion. Retrieving it is a great step toward recovering the empire's lost faith.

Part 2 — The Dark Stone & the Secret Technique
Secret of the 'Dark Stone'
| Available to | Bring back | Farm level | Drop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dark KnightRune WizardGrow LancerSlayer | Dark Stone | Lv 72–108 | 10% |
Exclusive to Blade Knights and Grow Lancers. Requires character level 220 or higher and 2 million Zen. Reward: unlocks the Combo skill (Blade Knight) or the Circle Shield skill (Grow Lancer), and unlocks the Master Quest.
Marlon says
There is a fighting method called Combo, passed on secretly within the empire's army — taught only to those who have trained long as a Blade Knight. And there is a technique called Circle Shield, passed secretly to Temple Knight Royal Guards, which only Grow Lancers can learn. If you're interested, I can teach it to you.
But to learn it, we need a special magic stone called the Dark Stone — you must use it to change the energy that flows within your body. I heard the Dark Stone can be found in Tarkan or Icarus. You can work on this if you have 2 million Zen. Since you found the Ring of Honor, I have no doubt you'll find the Dark Stone too.
You really found the Dark Stone! Now I will change the flow of energy within your body.
(Blade Knight) Combo lets you unleash explosive power by coordinating skills in a set pattern: activate a weapon skill first, then two regular skills in order to create the burst.
(Grow Lancer) Circle Shield reduces your opponent's AG. When they hit you it activates at a certain rate; with their AG reduced they can't use some skills, giving you the advantage. It can only be used while a shield is equipped.
You will be blessed with the power of Rugard, and every time you level up you will gain more stat points. Congratulations!
The Dark Stone
Dark StoneAn ancient treasure once sacred to the Knight's tribe. Most records of it have vanished, but word spread that some of Kundun's minions may be using its power. It is said to grant great strength and knowledge to its bearer — yet only descendants of the Knight's tribe can truly understand and learn its ability.
