Pentagrams

A Pentagram is the item that gives your character an element, and with it elemental damage and defense. You equip it in a dedicated Pentagram slot. Anyone can get a Pentagram for Beginners by opening a Pentagram Box, sold by the NPC Jin in Acheron (52, 195).

There are two families: normal pentagrams (Beginner → Unique) and Mastery pentagrams. Each pentagram has 1 to 5 socket slots for Errtels.

Errtel equipment slots

A pentagram has up to five sockets, each accepting one matching Errtel type. Every Errtel mounts only on its own dedicated slot — an Errtel of Anger goes in the Slot of Anger, an Errtel of Blessing in the Slot of Blessing, and so on:

Tip: to open the pentagram window and see its sockets/Errtels, hover the pentagram in your inventory and press Alt + Right Click.

• Slot of Radiance — Errtel of Radiance (5th slot — must be unlocked with an Expansion Scroll of Radiance Slot)

Reading the Pentagram window

The info window shows the pentagram’s name, its element, its elemental damage & defense, and the Errtels currently socketed. The interaction table on the pentagram shows, at a glance, whether your element is weaker, neutral or stronger against another element.

Removing an Errtel safely — Blessing of Spirit

When you take an Errtel out of a Pentagram, there is a chance the Errtel is destroyed in the process. The Blessing of Spirit removes that risk entirely — it guarantees the Errtel is safely extracted, so you can swap or reuse Errtels without losing the progress you put into them.

How to get pentagrams

Dropped pentagrams come with 1–4 or 2–4 socket slots.

Pentagram Boxes

Pentagrams also come packed inside Pentagram Boxes — Ancient, Mythic and Divine. Open a box to get a random pentagram; the box itself drops from monsters, bosses and events. Everything below is read live from the server config.

Trade Limit & Transaction Seal

Pentagrams have a Trade Limit — the number of times they can be traded. Use a Transaction Seal (from the Cash Shop) to raise it by one each time, up to a maximum of 255.

• The limit drops by one each time the item is traded or sold between characters.
• Storing it in the Vault does not reduce the limit.
• A pentagram dropped by a monster has a Trade Limit of 1.
