Guide Elemental System Elemental System

Elemental System

The Elemental System adds a second layer of combat on top of normal attack and defense. Every character can equip a Pentagram in a special slot, which grants an element — giving you elemental damage and elemental defense that apply in both PvP and PvM. Elemental damage is shown separately, in a colour that matches your element.

It was designed to close the gap between high- and low-level players: through opposing elements, the right element lets you out-damage or resist an opponent regardless of raw stats.

PvP = Player vs Player  ·  PvM = Player vs Monster

Elemental relationships

Your damage against a target depends on your element (the row) versus their element (the column). Green means you deal bonus damage, red means reduced:

Attack ↓ / Defense → Fire Water Earth Wind Darkness None
FireFire 100% 80% 90% 110% 120% 120%
WaterWater 120% 100% 80% 90% 110% 120%
EarthEarth 110% 120% 100% 80% 90% 120%
WindWind 90% 110% 120% 100% 80% 120%
DarknessDarkness 80% 90% 110% 120% 100% 120%
  • A target with no Pentagram counts as None and takes 120% damage from any element.
  • In PvP, elemental damage is increased by an extra 30%.

How to read the table

Take your element as the row and the enemy’s element as the column. Example with Fire:

  • Fire vs Fire100% — neutral, no bonus.
  • Fire vs Water80% — you deal less.
  • Fire vs Earth90% — you deal less.
  • Fire vs Wind110% — you deal more.
  • Fire vs Darkness or None120% — you deal more.

The element itself comes from your Pentagram; the strength of your elemental attack and defense is decided by the Errtels you socket into it.
